BEGIN AGAIN ‘begin again’ redesigned collection for cocktail select shop 2020 replacing the ever increasing collections per year created by fast fashion, we choose to work on upcycling, dealing with dead stock, abandoned or surplus material only. after all today’s trash is tomorrow’s treasure. we believe in fashion mileage over fashion trends, designing pieces that are built for long-lasting love. perhaps it is time to push the reset button and begin again.

commissioned by g for good, in collaboration with every life is a song and halo my soul
in hope of finding a more sustainable option to creating souvenir for events, we created upcycled tote bags for g for good’s first assembly in august 2019. the totes were made from abandoned fabrics collected from uniform factories, the prints combined kay’s drawings with cantonese lyrics from 《人曲》written by 周耀輝 and vicky fung, and《獨家村》written by 林夕 and christopher chak.

DOOM OR BLOOM 2 //2019-EMBRACE EARTH TILL DEATH DO US PART the marriage between man and nature is a constant struggle. human greed yearns for neverending “economic growth” ultimately leading to global warming, rising sea levels, and the destruction of nature. if nature dies, we die. are we still going to continue this way of life and be doomed, or is there an alternative that will allow us to reverse this status quo and bring the planet back to a blooming state?

SUSTAINABLE FASHION REDEFINED "NORWEGIAN WOOD" AW 2020TOMORROW BY DAYDREAM NATION X COCKTAIL SELECT SHOP We got our inspiration from the nostalgic novel norwegian wood, by haruki murakami. the character naoko, a beautiful emotionally troubled soul, inspired the trapped antique victorian lace needle-punched onto the sumptuous cashmere cardigans and boiled wool jackets; the passionate girl midori can be seen in the bright red and pink designs, highlighted by north american smocking, the cretan stitch and beading details.Our second upcycled collection commissioned by cocktail select shop, it is redesigned from beautiful off-season pieces from brands like nora sue, pas de calais, ijiit...
