This series of artwork was commissioned by Chinachem Group for their new building Echo House at Tonkin Street 28, Cheung Sha Wan. The project spanned the lobby, a club house wall, and a children's playroom.
This series of artwork was commissioned by Chinachem Group for their new building Echo House at Tonkin Street 28, Cheung Sha Wan. The project spanned the lobby, a club house wall, and a children's playroom.
Through harvesting and foraging on the farm, I engage in a delicate waltz with the misfit plants – those often overlooked or seen as weeds. In this process, I learn about which weeds disrupt the farm's ecosystem and gather these materials, aiding in their removal and reimagining their potential.
Kay was selected as the Artist in Residence at Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Gardens for the 2024-2025 term.
